Maybe Ron, the new male ghostbuster, has some very nasty legs and they wanted to spare us from seeing the grossness.
I think the Latina in the background, Miss Ortiz I think her name is, is wearing pants. It’s kinda hard to tell in that image.

All 4 have very heavy duty protection on their arms, but only the dude has any on his legs…makes you wonder if that’s vanity on the parts of the characters who chose style over function or one or more of the comic creators being pigheaded…
