Empire Online is reporting that Sigourney Weaver will be a character in the new Amy Heckerling film Vamps. As of now it’s assumed that she’ll be playing Ciccerus, “the blood-craving, yet sexy vampire queen”

Heckerling wrote and will direct the tale of modern-day vamp ladies Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter, who are enjoying the night time party circuit in New York until they both fall in love and have a tough choice to make: remain immortal or cast aside their eternal life for their beaus?

We’re guessing Weaver – playing Ciccerus, the blood-craving, yet sexy vampire queen who turned them both – will have something to say about their decision.
