Fans of Mattel’s 6″ Ghostbusters have been voicing their concerns over at the MattyCollector.com message board regarding the upcoming Winston Zeddemore figure.
Zeddemore was shown as the San Diego Comic Con with a slime blower and the original body sculpt. The problem? The blower is much smaller than what was depicted in Ghostbusters 2 and the figure doesn’t feature the vest that was in the film.

Well, your concerns may have been fixed as this was posted on Matty’s message board earlier this week:
Hey Slime fans,
I know a lot of fans have been asking about the Slime Blower Winston figure in particular the lack of a vest on the 6″ figure.
We’ve heard fans and I want to let you know we are looking into this. It may mean bumping him back a month or so, but we want to deliver the best figure possible.
Nothing to officially announce now, but want to let fans know we are working on it!
Stay tuned for when more information becomes available.

This past weekend Toronto played host to Fan Expo 2010. An event that’s often referred to as Canadas own version of Comic-Con. You’ve got photo ops and autographs with celebrities, thousands of items for purchase and even advertisements for the hottest upcoming movies. Sounds like fun, right? Well, some would disagree.
The event was oversold. There, I said it. People were walking around shoulder to shoulder, merchants were getting ripped off because they couldn’t keep track of everyone around their booths and even some people had to wait two-three hours just to re-enter the building due to the fire marshalls ruling of the complex reaching it’s maximum capicity.
How did all of this effect us? Not that much. Luckily we mostly stayed inside the convention centre so we didn’t have to wait to re-enter and we did buy our tickets in advance, but the general mood on the show floor was anger and bitterness towards the organisers of the event.
Sure, we were on the inside, but what was it like on the outside? Let me turn to Mary from SomeGirlFromCanada.com who wrote:
“I decided to attend the event on a Saturday, I heard that there was going to be line ups. And I am fine with waiting in lines, not for hours on end, but having to wait a little bit is understandable. Also, I understand that I did not have a prepaid ticket, and therefore would have to wait even longer. But I was ok with this. I thought that it would be organized to cater to the fans. However, there was no clear indication of where to line up if you had a ticket, or if you do not have a ticket.
However, when I arrived before I could even find out where to go, a lock down was set into place, and no one was able to enter the building due to the convention being over capacity. And the fire marshals were called in. I could hear other attendants chanting, and yelling about the situation.”
Yikes!
Moving away from the ill feelings, what’s a convention without meeting your favorite celebrity? Well, I did just that. Sendil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh on NBC’s Heroes) and Felicia Day (Codex on the Guild) were definately two of the highlights. The main headliner was Stan Lee, but he just doesn’t do it for me. Sorry comic fans!
Watch Felicia Day in the Guild’s new video “Game On”:
We were able to snag an interview with Laurie B. Who’s Laurie B? She’s a highly talented artist who depicts well known movie, film and comic characters in sexy ways. Yes, she’s tackled Ghostbusters, so be sure to check out the interview below:
Welcome to Tromaville!!!
We caught a quick word with co-founder of Troma, Lloyd Kaufman! This guy is great and for anyone who ever see’s him at a conference, do yourself and do this:
1. Buy a Troma DVD or Blu-Ray (we suggest Toxic Avenger or Poultrygeist)
2. Walk up to him and get him to sign the item
3. Ask him any random question
4. Laugh at his insanely hilarious reponse
Have no idea what type of movies Troma makes? Check out the trailer to Toxic Avenger 4: Citizen Toxie:
Sex sales. It’s true, especially at conventions like this.
NerdGirlPinUps.com had their own table booked at the event. Never been to their site? We think you should, as they’ve got sizzling hot pictorials dedicated to such franchises as G.I. Joe, Dr. Who and Star Wars!
The girls also cut a few promos for our website and we couldn’t thank them enough for it! You can find the one we did with Holli Gram & Valiant Hart above, but if you’d like to view the other two (featuring Kenickie Street & Veronica Velvet), be sure to check out our brand new YouTube channel.
Not to be outdone by NerdGirlPinUps.com, Red Herring was also there promoting her Babes In Space burlesque show (which we wound up missing and kick ourselves for). She had a booth filled with beautiful women, decidant cupcakes (made by Stacey Laureyssens) and some of the sexiest 8×10’s money could buy!
You can view the promo she did for our site below:
While we were waiting for seminars to begin we came across a moment that was so adorable, we just had to share it. What is it exactly? Find out below!
*Cue the “AWWWWW” sound effects*
After leaving the Expo on Sartuday we attended two events that were being put on by Rue Morgue!
The first was an event called Santo Sangre (also put on by Raven Banner and SCT Pro Wrestling), which was a three match event of lucha libre. The most interesting part of the event was the fact it took place inside a small art musuem that was highlighted with masked luchadore art from wall to wall.
The night also marked the Canadian debut of legendary luchadore El Hijo Del Santo. While this was a historical moment in itself, Santo welcomed former WWE Divas Lita and Trish Stratus into the ring following his match.
I’d also like to thank everyone behind the lucha libre event. It was honestly a dream of mine to film a wrestling show at ringside. To include the historical luchadore El Hijo Del Santo and two of the most successful women in WWE history was just icing on the cake.
We also managed to attend Night of New Flesh. It was a horror themed party that was hosted by Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2’s Bill Moseley and the original Nightmare on Elm Street’s Heather Langenkamp. The two horror icons helped judge a costume contest which you can view in it’s entirety below:
Three days of Fan Expo and several late night events had us nearly falling over when the event was coming to a close on Sunday evening. Will we be attending next year? Without a doubt, but we’ve got our eyes on something a bit bigger… Comic-Con, we’re looking at you!

The internet is buzzing with tons of news regarding Ghostbusters 3. Wait, how can this be happening? After all, the actual film has even been green lit yet, but that’s not stopping anyone from speculating with help from “sources”.
Perez Hilton is reporting that Rick Moranis “will come out of retirement to reprise his role in the third Ghostbusters film!”, while Bloody Disgusting is saying that “it will be revealed that Dana’s son Oscar is in fact Peter’s child as well.”
Let’s make it clear that none of this is confirmed. Rick Moranis has yet to sign onto anything, and as far as I know the script (that hasn’t been green lit) has not been finalized!
September is almost here, so that means it’s time for another edition of the Sexy Ghostbuster Calender!
As always we’d like to thank Scanner Productions for supplying this amazing feature every month. Be sure to check them out on either MySpace or Facebook.
Without any further hesitation, here’s Krissie!
