Last September, when the preview trailer to the fourth season of Stranger Things was released, Ghostbusters fans were quick to point at a small Easter egg, with the inclusion of a no-ghost button seen on Dustin’s backpack.
While nowhere near the Ghostbusters-fueled episode from season two that had the four male leads dress up as Spengler, Stantz, Venkman, and, uh… Venkman, we can’t help but love seeing Netflix continue to include subtle references to the 1984 comedy.
Being that we’re currently binging season four, we stumbled across another Ghostbusters nod, which sees an “International Ghostbusters Club” small poster advertisement appear in Dustin’s bedroom, visible in the third episode, “The Monster and the Superhero.”

Given the show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers’ eye for detail, you shouldn’t be too surprised that this advertisement was real, giving fans the chance to be a “certified Ghostbuster” and receive a handful of perks, including a membership card, metal badge, subscription to a quarterly newsletter, stickers, and a certificate showing your “Anti-Paranormal Proficiency.”

As we continue to comb through episodes, we’ll report any additional Ghostbusters findings, but if you’ve found anything outside of what’s featured above, be sure to reach out and let us know.
In some other Ghostbusters-related Stranger Things news, the second wave of Bandai’s new action figure line has just arrived exclusively on Target store shelves. The toys feature a retro-vibe, with many comparing them to Kenner’s Real Ghostbusters Fright Features, even including similar interactive play features. For a closer look, click here.
