Last month third-party international distributor Zavvi unexpectedly began shipping Hasbro’s HasLab Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler’s Proton Packs much earlier than expected, no doubt to the delight of many fans. However, in an unfortunate update, it appears that the remaining orders through Zavvi won’t be fulfilled until April.
Zavvi informed customers earlier today through e-mail, with fellow fans and franchise groups reaching out to Ghostbusters News to confirm, with the below translation provided to us from Ghostbusters Media on Twitter:
Hello,
After our last email we sent you regarding your order for the Hasbro Haslab Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler’s Proton Pack, we apologize for the ongoing delay.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have experienced a delay in receiving the goods from our supplier. We have been advised that this item is expected to ship on or before the week commencing 10/04/2023.
We would like to assure you that this falls below our normal level of service. We have launched an investigation with the supplier to determine the cause of the delay and will take action to prevent this from happening again.
In the meantime, you can always check your order status by logging into your account and following the instructions. Once your order has shipped you will receive an email letting you know it is on its way. If there is anything else we can do, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a member of our team through your account – we’d be happy to help.
For those unaware, while Hasbro handled the crowd-funding campaign within North America and the United Kingdom, Zavvi outsourced pre-orders of the replicas for some international countries, including Germany, Italy, Nederland, France, and Ireland.
