Independent toy makers TCU Toys have announced an entirely non-licensed assortment of 3.75″ scale Ghostbusters action figures, with Ghostbusters News providing an exclusive look at the fan-made line.
Including film-like adaptations of Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, and Ray Stantz, each figure features a throwback style with five points of articulation, perfectly fitting alongside Kenner’s Star Wars or Indiana Jones toys of the early 1980s or Super 7’s every growing ReAction line.
Looking at pack-ins, each will include the ghost-catching go-to, a Proton Pack, and character-specific accessories, with Venkman packaged with zener cards, Spengler with a PKE Meter, Zeddemore with a Ghost Trap, and Stantz with a pair of Ecto Goggles.
While not endorsed by Columbia Pictures Ghost Corps, TCU Toys won’t be skimping on the presentation, as not only do the figures look authentic to similar toys of the era, being sculpted by Art Toy Chile, but will include retro-style box art.
If you’re looking to add these to your collection, TCU Toys have confirmed that pre-orders for Venkman will launch tomorrow, April 1st, being priced at $65.
