Unboxing the Ghostbusters II-inspired Terror Tub playset

Independent toy studio Fantazm Toys is back with their newest release, Terror Tub, an action figure made to scale perfectly with the Kenner toys of the late 1980s and early 90s, inspired by one of Ghostbusters II’s most memorable scenes!

Serving as Fantazm‘s most ambitious toy yet, Terror Tub is much more than an action figure; heck, this thing is a full-on playset, as not only can the slime monster be easily removed from the possessed basin, but a host of pack-in accessories are included, comprised of a sponge, rubber duck, and “a little bit of that pink slime.”

With pre-orders now live, Fantazm Toys sent an advanced Terror Tub to the Ghostbusters News HQ, letting us share an early look at the psychomagnotheric minion, with today’s feature centered around a full unboxing and review, including comparing it next to other popular Ghostbusters toys!

As stated in today’s video, this non-licensed offering is a must-have for fans of Ghostbusters II, as anything based on the 1989 sequel, at least from an official standpoint, is few and far between. We guess Bobby Brown was right when he said, “You want something done, you gotta do it yourself,” as that’s clearly been Fantazm‘s motto, releasing toys made by fans for the fans.

If you’d like to add Terror Tub to your collection, a quick heads up: pre-orders are set to close this Saturday, April 22nd, so get your order in ASAP!
