Something strange will soon be available at your nearest Starbucks, as in celebration of the impending spooky season, the java giants will be releasing a new tumbler that features a rather funky slime-dripping effect!
The reveal came from Instagram user @the_tumbler_girl, who posted a quick video and a few photos of the cup, confirming that it will glow in the dark.
No exact ETA just yet, but given it’s expected to be a Halloween offering, if past year releases are anything to go by, these could begin arriving in stores as early as July. Pricing is listed at $29.95 USD.
While not necessarily Ghostbusters related, unless, of course, we get a surprise tie-in between Starbucks and the new film, at first glance, we can’t help but think of slime, in particular, sometimes franchise mascot Slimer and his discontinued green drink, Hi-C Ecto Cooler.
Longtime readers will recall that several years ago, word of a “secret menu item” called the Ghostbusters Frapaccunio made the rounds, combining Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with raspberry syrup, strawberry puree, and a dash of cookie crumbles all in a vague attempt to recreate the Ghostbusters logo.
