Earlier this week, we received confirmation that Bill Murray was in the United Kingdom amid rumors of his return in the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel, and in today’s update, Murray has again been photographed, but this time, with longtime co-star Dan Aykroyd.
The photo comes from English comedian David Walliams, who’s seen standing alongside Aykroyd and Murray, adding the more than justified caption “BEST. DAY. EVER.”

Outside of what’s shown, details are scarce, with many of Walliams followers asking if he had landed a role in the untitled sequel, especially given that the photo appears to have been taken close to set, with the background made up of film production trailers.
While Aykroyd and Murray’s returns in the upcoming sequel are beginning to appear more than likely, aligning with previous statements made by Ernie Hudson, Columbia Pictures currently has not confirmed either involvement.
If you missed it, previously confirmed Ghostbusters cast addition Emily Alyn Lind shared a behind-the-scenes photo, asking her Instagram followers, “Who ya gonna call?” while providing a glimpse of the film’s internal crew logo, paying homage to London’s roundel symbol.

With this year’s Ghostbusters Day, taking place on Thursday, June 8th, commemorating the 39th anniversary of the franchise, fans can expect a handful of reveals pertaining to the upcoming sequel, in addition to updates related to last year’s announced animated feature and Netflix series.
