Following the recent limited release of Tony Taylor Toys’ Return of the Terror Tub, the slime-filled bathroom menace is already back, this time in miniature form.
Taylor, formerly one half of the fan-favorite art toy duo Fantazm Toys, has introduced the limited-edition Neon Pink Terror Tub mini figure, shrinking his monstrous new creation down to just 2.5 inches tall while retaining its inspiration from the psychomagnotheric slime that filled Dana Barrett’s bathtub in 1989’s Ghostbusters II.
Like the larger release, the mini Terror Tub is sculpted and printed using custom-dyed resin, but this time, the entire piece is cast in vibrant neon pink. It also features all-new packaging, arriving in a reusable plastic clamshell that allows collectors to easily display the figure on or off the card.
Following Taylor’s recently closed limited release of the eight-inch art piece, this smaller version is also intended for adult collectors. While not an officially licensed Ghostbusters product or traditional toy, its 2.5-inch scale would look right at home alongside popular Ghostbusters toy lines, measuring slightly larger than Kenner’s classic pack-in ghosts.
